We’re thrilled to shine our Staff Spotlight on Katy, proudly nominated by the IOT Modesto Team for her incredible contributions, unwavering dedication, and contagious campus spirit!
Although Katy has been with the Modesto campus for less than a year, her presence is already impossible to miss. As both LRC Manager and Professional Development Instructor, Katy doesn’t just wear multiple hats—she owns them.
From taking on a double teaching load with grace, to revamping student orientation with an interactive Kahoot game, to coordinating testing, supplies, and helping organize events like the chili cook-off, Katy’s fingerprints are everywhere.
“I have worked with many colleagues, but never have I experienced the level of communication, commitment, and pure heart that Ms. Katy brings every day.” — Campus Leader
We sat down with Katy to learn more about what drives her passion and what it means to be part of the IOT family.
