“In 2023 I became a first time mom and knew I wanted to build a better future for my daughter. I was previously a bartender for over a decade and didn’t see a future I could be proud of continuing down that career path. One day I was driving past the Redding IOT campus and I decided to pop inside and ask questions about their programs. Little did I known I would be leaving there enrolled in the MA program and about to start my journey towards pursuing a new career.
I started the program as a new mother who was still nursing scared that I wouldn’t be able to finish. Then in a blink of an eye I was finished with grades I couldn’t be prouder of and a new job that I’d like to call home.”
