“My Name is Martin Sanchez, I am currently a Culinary Arts teacher at Madera High School. I have been working in the culinary industry for close to 10 years! I started as a dishwasher at a restaurant and saw how exciting the line was and I decided to take on culinary school! During my 2nd Mod I was given the opportunity to work at The Elbow Room in Fresno with Chef Roy Harland and Chef Heidi.
I gained amazing experience while still in school. While in school I was also able to partake in events with Chef Jim and Chef Kevin. After graduating, I took a slightly different route and started working Hospitals, Rehabilitation Centers, School Districts, and even as a private chef for a Sorority.
IOT opened many doors for me with networking and helped me build relationships that I still have to this day.”
