Do you see yourself protecting others through your work on the front lines of law enforcement or disaster response? IOT can help you prepare for a critical role ensuring the safety of others during a crime or a crisis through a degree in Criminology and Emergency Response Management (CERM).

IOT’s CERM career training immerses you in directly transferrable skills and instruction through a curriculum that adheres to Federal Emergency Response Standards (FEMA).
In addition to real-world preparation in your specialty, IOT offers several other advantages, including:
- Access to the IVR-300 Training Simulator
- Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) security guard card
- Standards and Training for Corrections certificate
Students who successfully complete this program will receive an ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE from the Clovis campus or an ASSOCIATE OF OCCUPATIONAL STUDIES from the Modesto campus.

HOURS OF INSTRUCTION/PROGRAM LENGTH
This program is 1,300 hours and 97 quarter credit hours. Classes are held Monday through Thursday for 65 weeks. An Independent Study component is included. See your admissions representative for available class times.
