IOT wants to help you earn your welding certification and comprehensively prepare you to enter the manufacturing and construction industry.
Our welding technician program develops your skills inside-out. We provide you hands-on experience in the welding trade, which includes safety and methods for various forms of welding. Additionally, soldering and brazing will be explored.
Graduates from this program will be prepared to contribute in a broad range of entry-level occupations in the Welding field including Welders, Cutters, Welder Fitters, Solderers and Brazers in addition to associated fields such as Metal Workers and in Production Occupations.
This program is 900 hours and 51 quarter credit hours. Classes are held Monday through Thursday for 45 weeks. An Independent Study component is included. See your admissions representative for available class times.
