The Institute of Technology Clovis Campus was on point this week with their cake balls! Not only did they look amazing but the talent, creativity, and delicious taste showed us who was boss. We are so happy to have everyone on-campus learning, creating, and moving their dreams and goals forward once again.
Did you know a cake pop is a form of cake styled as a lollipop? Cake crumbs, also known as the little bites of deliciousness, are mixed with icing or chocolate a coating. You can use many different toppings, from sprinkles to mini chocolate chips, etc. Cake pops are a way of using up leftover cake or cake crumbs, but can also be created from scratch. The cake pop increased in popularity between 2009 and 2011 but our Baking & Pastry students have perfected it. A book called “Cake Pop” by Bakerella appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.
