Institute of Technology welcomes Josh Green, MA PT as the Director of its new Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Josh joins IOT having over 20 years’ experience as a Physical Therapist. Josh holds two Bachelor Degrees, one in Physical Education and another in Health Science. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Josh is well respected by his peers and continues to be involved in the PT field. Josh holds a Center Coordinator of Clinical Education certification through the Northern California Physical Therapy Consortium, appointed Faculty Member of the University of North Dakota PT program, Certified Work Capacity Evaluator and a Member of the American PT Association. Josh’s hobby and passion is Soccer when he’s not at the office.
IOT Redding Welcomes New PTA Program Director
Institute of Technology’s PTA program will consist of five, 15 week semesters and graduates will earn an Associates of Applied Science Degree. Students will gain the knowledge to provide physical therapy services for people in a variety of clinical setting, including hospitals, private practice, home health, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, nursing homes and more while working under the supervision of a physical therapist. Josh is currently developing the application for The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and securing clinical sites in anticipation of a Spring, 2019 program roll-out.
