Creating Your Own Real-World Success

At IOT, we prepare you for a real world of emergency response care through instructors with field experience, enhanced by hands-on classroom experiences that can transfer to your job setting. Your training at IOT can also prepare you to earn certifications that can help you successfully enter this field. These include:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) card

Upon successful completion of your EMT certification program, you will receive an “EMT Certificate” and will be officially documented as “graduate.”

Program Benefits

IOT wants to give you every advantage in your learning experience and beyond the classroom. We enhance the core skills and knowledge offered in your EMT training through the following:
24-hour clinical externship at a health care organization prior to graduation
One-on-one mentoring support from field-experienced instructors
Uniforms, textbooks, shears, holster, stethoscope, and penlight are included in cost of program

Hours of Instruction/Program Length

This program is 168 hours. Classes are held Monday through Thursday for 9 weeks. See your admissions representative for available class times.
