Seek entry-level career opportunities in any general office setting – public or private, big or small – with our Associate’s degree in Accounting. Our program will help you gain the bookkeeping, office procedure, and computer software knowledge that today’s employers look for.

As a student enrolled in our Accounting program, you will receive basic and advanced instruction in accounting principles, involving proprietorship, partnership, and corporate environments. You will also learn to perform beginner and intermediate word processing tasks, spreadsheets and bookkeeping duties, and accounts payable and receivable responsibilities.

Earn your accounting certification in Clovis

Our program curriculum supports professional certifications. As a student, you’ll be encouraged to pursue certifications as a Microsoft Office User Specialist in Microsoft Word and Excel. This program will help you learn the basic accounting skills you need to begin pursuing your CPA, which can help you take your career to the next level.

Hours of Instruction/Program Length

This program is 1,500 hours and 112 quarter credit hours. Classes are held Monday through Thursday for 75 weeks. An Independent Study component is included. See your admissions representative for available class times.
