Believing in your real-world success

Students in our Level One Nursing Assistant program will be provided the knowledge and skills necessary to assist a licensed nurse in the provision of health care. The content of the program is designed to meet the curriculum requirements of the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN).

Graduates from IOT’s Level One Nursing Assistant program may be eligible to sit for their state board exam and enter the medical field with the skills needed to provide compassionate and effective care.

Hours of Instruction/Program Length

Students are required to complete 80 hours of classroom time and perform 75 hours in a clinical setting – successfully demonstrating 81 patient/resident care lab skills and 41 patient/resident care clinical skills.
